    CHADD – Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder national organization.

    The Louisiana Capital Area Chapter of CHADD conducts monthly workshops for families of those with ADHD and related learning differences. Workshops focus on such topics as effective advocacy, homework strategies, developing effective parent/school partnerships, and other concerns regarding education, health and mental health.  Contact Belynda L.     This year at Westdale Middle School we are excited to offer a new way to monitor student’s progress. Kickboard is a school wide program that allows us to track important behaviors throughout the day. The Kickboard Parent Student Portal is a way to keep you and your child up to date with his or her academic and behavioral progress. To create your account, please do the following:

    1. Contact Assistant Principal Tim Boyle at or Ms. Chelette at to obtain your students’ personal access code.
    2. go to
    3. Click the “Parent Login” link on the top navigation menu
    4. Click the “Create New Account” button
    5. Enter your access code and your child’s birthday
    6. Be sure to write down the username generated and password
    7. Now you can check your student’s behavior everyday!
